Norditalien/Südeuropa, Mitte bis Ende 16. Jh. 12,65g. 17 x 11mm. Hochovaler Intaglio, Lapislazuli, in Goldring (Umfang 57mm) gefasst. Mucius Scaevola stehend n.l. Die linke Hand stützt sich auf einen Stab und die Rechte hält er ins Feuer, um den Etruskerkönig Porsenna, der dem Mythos nach Rom belagerte, von seiner Standhaftigkeit zu überzeugen. Porsenna war davon derart überwältigt, dass er Friedensverhandlungen mit Rom unterhielt und die Belagerung abbrach. Gold!

His left hand leans onto a staff and he holds his right hand over a fire. This proof of constancy convinced Porsenna, the Etruscan king, who sieged Rome to negotiate about peace. Italien, 18. - 19. Jh. 42,51g, 56 x 46mm. Großer hochovaler Kameo, Achat, in vergoldetem Silberrahmen gefasst. Auf dem Achat sind Mars und Venus sitzend unter einem Baum auf einer Bank in inniger Umarmung zu sehen. Unter ihnen liegen Pfeil und Bogen des Eros. Eros links im Feld lässt Tauben fliegen.

Italien, spätes 18. Jh. - frühes 19. Jh. 17,28g, 32 x 28mm. Hochovaler Achat, in goldenem Rahmen gefasst. Auf dem Achat ist Bacchus im Profil nach rechts zu sehen. Er trägt ein florales Ornament, bestehend aus Weinblättern und Weintrauben, im Haar. Rechts im Feld findet sich die Signatur des Kameoschneiders A. AMASTINI. Signiert von Angel Antonio Amastini (1754-1815)! Gold!

Süditalien, um 1800. 8,16g. 25 x 23mm. Hochovaler Koralle. Die moderne Goldfassung in 750er Gold ist von Jens Schleede (Berlin) gefertigt. Auf dem Kameo ist Bacchus sitzend auf einem Felsen nach links zu sehen. In der linken Hand hält er einen Thyrsos und mit der rechten berührt er die Hüfte einer vor ihm tanzenden Mänade. Die Mänade steht nach links, ihr Kopf ist zurückgewandt und mit der rechten Hand bauscht sie ihr Gewand über den Kopf. Gold!
