Korinthisches schwarzfiguriges Alabastron der Luxus-Gruppe.
Frühkorinthisch, 625 - 600 v. Chr. H 12cm, ø Körper 6,9cm. Zentral auf der Vorderseite ein großes Palmetten-Lotusornament, seitlich davon zwei antithetische Schwäne mit Sichelflügeln. In den Zwischenräumen zahlreiche Rosetten und andere Füllornamente. Details in Rot, zahlreiche prägnante Reihen von weißen Punkten ("White-Dot Style").

Corinthian black-figure alabastron of the Luxus Group. Early Corinthian, 625 - 600 BC. Height 12cm, ø corpus 6,9cm. In the center on the front a large ornament with palmette and lotus bud, on each side a swan with sickle wings, between rosettes and other filling ornaments. Details in red, numerous rows of white dots (white-dot style). Painting flaked off at tiny spots, otherwise intact.
