Late Roman mould for making appliques for terra sigillata dishes. North Africa, 4th - 5th century AD. 22,6 x 20,7 x 3,3cm. Oblong plate made of gypsum with low negative reliefs. On the left twice the figure of Petrus, on the right twice Paulus, both in a gesture of speech, in between twice the figure of a female martyr holding a wreath. Very interesting object! Collection of Greek and Roman ceramics. Bronze rim bowl. Parthian, 2nd - 1st century BC. ø 16.5cm. Rather shallow, convex bowl of chased bronze with a stepped, concave rim. The underside with a very beautiful rosette with the leaves typical of Parthian work from the Hellenistic period. Dark green patina, slightly bent, small crack on the rim, otherwise intact with remains of sinter.

Zwei griechische Bronzegefäße.
4. Jh. v. Chr. a) Omphalosschale mit Resten einer Verzinnung, die wohl im Zuge einer Reparatur aufgetragen wurde. Auf der Unterseite ein nicht ursprünglich zugehöriger Ringfuß. Massiver Guss. ø 22,2cm. Dazu b) eine große steilwandige Bronzeschüssel. ø 24,5cm. 2 Stück!

Two Greek bronze vessels. 4th century BC. a) Omphalos bowl made of massive bronze with remains of tinning, perhaps from an ancient repair. Below a not originally belonging ringfoot. ø 22,2cm. Plus b) a large bowl with straight sides. ø 24,5cm. 2 pieces! Both with dark green patina and intact.

Mittelbyzantinisch, 9. - 10. Jh. n. Chr. H 6,9cm, L 33,5cm, ø Schale 18,4cm. Schwere Griffschale aus gegossener Bronze mit abgedrehtem Rillendekor sowie langem, unterschnittenem Henkel.

Bronze casserole. Middle Byzantine Period, 9th - 10th century AD. H 6,9cm, L 33,5cm, ø bowl 18,4cm. Heavy bowl with wheel-made grooves and long handle. Dark patina, at the handle a crack, otherwise intact.

a) Zwei Widder und ein Vogel mit Ösen auf den Rücken. Mittel- oder süditalisch, 7. - 8. Jh. v. Chr. L 5,4cm bis 7,9cm. Eine Öse gebrochen, sonst intakt. b) Zehn Ringe, fünf davon mit äußeren Rippen, zwei bestehend aus zwei konzentrischen Ringen mit Stegen, wohl Anhänger für das Pferdegeschirr. Italisch, 2. - 1. Jt. v. Chr. ø 3,8cm bis 11,7cm. Intakt. c) Kleine geschwungene Perle für ein Gerät. L 3cm. Intakt. d) Flacher Schalengriff mit Schwanenkopf am Ende, an den Enden wunderschöner gravierter Palmettendekor. Etruskisch oder griechisch, 7. - 6. Jh. v. Chr. L 15,5cm. Am unteren Ende gebrochen. e) Herrlicher Kannengriff mit Kanneluren und plastischer Attasche in Palmettenform. Griechisch, 5. Jh. v. Chr. H 16,7cm. Intakt. f) Etruskisches Cauldron mit gehämmerten Rand. 6. Jh. v. Chr. H 9,1cm, ø 25,2cm. Riss mit kleiner Fehlstelle in der Wandung, sonst intakt. g) Zwei schöne Scheibenappliken für Möbel mit abgedrehten Profilen, in einer Scheibe noch der Rest des eisernen Nagels. ø 6,7cm. Römische Kaiserzeit, 1. Jh. n. Chr. Intakt. 19 Stück!

Very interesting collection of ancient bronze objects from different cultures. a) Two rams and a bird with eyelets on their backs. Middle or South Italy, 7th - 6th century BC. L 5.4cm to 7.9cm. One eyelet broken, otherwise intact. b) Ten rings, five of which have external ribs, two consisting of two concentric rings with bars, probably pendants for horse harnesses. Italy, 2nd - 1st millennium BC. ø 3.8cm to 11.7cm. Intact. c) Small curved bead for a tool. L 3cm. Intact. d) Flat bowl handle with swans head at the end, with beautiful engraved palmette decoration at the ends. Etruscan or Greek, 7th - 6th century BC. L 15.5cm. Broken at the lower end. e) Magnificent jug handle with fluting and three-dimensional palmette-shaped attachment. Greek, 5th century BC. H 16.7cm. Intact. f) Etruscan cauldron with hammered rim. 6th century BC. H 9.1cm, ø 25.2cm. Crack with small defect in the wall, otherwise intact. g) Two beautiful disc appliqués for furniture with turned profiles. One disc still contains the remains of an iron nail. ø 6.7cm. Roman Imperial period, 1st century AD. Intact. 19 pieces! All with green to dark green patina.
