Korinth, 2. Hälfte 6. Jh. v. Chr. H 9,9cm, ø 17,4cm. Körper aus zwei Teilen, die aus getriebenem Bronzeblech bestehen. Darunter Dreifuß mit Zungenfries und drei Löwenbeinen.
Provenienz: Seit 2021 in der Privatsammlung P. A., München; davor in deutschem Familienbesitz seit vor 2000; bei Gorny & Mosch Auktion 305, München 2024, Los 94.
Bronze exaleiptron from Corinth. 2nd half 6th century BC. Height 9,9cm, ø 17,4cm. Two-part Corpus made from embossed bronze sheets. Below tripod stand with a fries of tongues and three lions legs. Green patina, traces of surface corrosion, otherwise intact.
