Ikone mit Heiligen Nikolaus von Myra und feinem, ornamentenreichen Silberoklad.
Russisches Zarenreich, 19. Jh. H 31,5cm, B 26,5cm. Eitempera über Kreidegrund und Goldgrund auf Holz, verso Stoffabdeckung. Der Hl. Nikolaus im prächtigen Bischofsgewand mit segnender Rechten und geöffnetem Evangelium. Seitlich Christus und die Gottesmutter in kleinen Medaillons. Oklad aus vergoldetem Silber, getrieben und fein graviert, mit punzierter Marke der Bezirksbeschauadministration mit Angabe des Feingehaltes von "84", der Stadtmarke von Moskau und dem Meisterzeichen "B.C." in Kyrillisch sowie der Jahresangabe "1868".

Eindrucksvolle orthodoxe Hausikone mit schöner Komposition, Sammlerstück!

Russisches Zarenreich, 19. Jh. H 33cm, B 27cm. Eitempera über Gold- und Kreidegrund auf Holz. In der Mitte umgeben von der Engelsversammlung halten zwei Engel eine Aureole mit dem Brustbild Christi Emmanuel, darüber Seraphim, darunter und oben in den Ecken drei Cherubime.

Russisches Zarenreich, 19. Jh. H 45cm, B 37,5cm. Holztafel mit zwei Sponki. Eitempera auf Gold- und Kreidegrund. In der Mitte der Heilige Nikolaus von Myra frontal als Halbfigur. Seine rechte Hand ist segnend erhoben, mit der linken hält er ein Evangelienbuch. Seitlich seines Kopfes Christus und die Gottesmutter. Darum rahmend 16 Bilderfelder mit Szenen aus dem Leben des Heiligen.

Ein Paar Vogelprotomen.
Seldschukisch, ca. 12. Jh. n. Chr. Kalkstein, L je 29cm. H 18 bzw. 20cm. Zwei weiß gekalkte Vogelprotomen mit elegant geschwungenen Hälsen und mandelförmigen Flügeln und Augen. Das Hinterteil geht in einen zylindrischen Zapfen über.

Provenienz: Ex Sammlung H. W., Nordrhein-Westfalen, seit vor 1980.

Die Stücke waren wohl mit den langen Zapfen in einem Mauerwerk versenkt und dienten in irgendeiner Form als Wandhaken.

Diquis, 8. - frühes 16. Jh. n. Chr. 5 x 6cm; 17g. Flache abstrakte Figurine eines Vogels mit großem Schwanz, leicht hervorstehendem runden Körper und großem Kopf mit seitlich abstehenden Augen und langem Schnabel; weit ausgebreitete Flügel jeweils mit fünf Halbkügelchen. Mit der alten Rechnung! Gold!

Quimbaya, 9. - 15. Jh. n. Chr. L 6,5cm; 28,9g. Kriechendes Tier mit langen, gebogenen Beinen, kurzem Schwanz, großem Kopf und langer spitzer Schnauze; auf dem Kopf sowie an den vorderen Pfoten jeweils eine Öse; von einer Seite Reste einer weiteren Pfote, ursprünglich wohl als Paar.
