Fragments of a large Attic red-figure cup. About 520 BC. Width of the fragments 25,3cm, ø restored 29,6cm, ø tondo 12,6cm. Inside a tondo with frontal squatting and ithyphallic satyr. With Italian export licence, a certificate from The Art Loss Register and copies of the Sotheby`s and Puhze catalogue! Original are large parts of the tondo and a part of the bowl, at last by order of the owner completed to a full cup.

Pseudo-rotfigurige Schale der Sokra-Gruppe.
Etruskisch, 400 - 350 v. Chr. H bis Rand 9,8cm, B mit Henkeln 32cm, ø 24,2cm. Glanztonware mit tongrundiger Deckfarbe und Ritzungen. Innen Tondo mit Hippokampos, außen jeweils zwei Frauen im Gespräch.

Provenienz: In Deutschland seit 2007; aus einer Tessiner Sammlung, erworben in den 1980er Jahren.

Pseudo red-figure cup of the Sokra Group. Etruscan, 400 - 350 BC. Black-glaze ware with superposed color and incised decor. Height to the rim 9,8cm, width with handles 32cm, ø 24,2cm. Inside tondo with a hippocampus, outside on both sides two women talking to each other. Reassembled from fragments, small missing parts are retouched, painting outside partially rubbed off and partially retouched.

Schale der Xenonware.
Apulisch, 1. Hälfte 4. Jh. v. Chr. H bis Rand 4,7cm, B mit Henkeln 22cm, ø 15,1cm. Schale mit innen abgesetztem Rand und Ringfuß der Glanztonware mit rötlicher Deckfarbe. Auf der Unterseite rötlicher Überzug. Innen ein Tondo mit Hase. Besonders schönes Exemplar dieser Gruppe! Mit Kopie der Rechnung!

Kampanische rotfigurige Lekanis mit Deckel der AV II-Gruppe.
Nahe dem Libation-Maler. Um 330 v. Chr. H mit Deckel 14,4cm, ø Deckel 18,6cm, B Schale 27.9cm, ø Schale18,4cm. Weiße Details, am Deckel rötlicher Überzug. Auf dem Deckel eine sitzende junge Frau mit Spendenschale und auf der anderen Seite ein zu ihr schwebender Satyr mit Thyrsos und Tympanon.

Campanian red-figure lekanis with lid of the AV II Group (near the Libation Painter). About 330 BC. Height with lid 14,4cm, ø lid 18,6cm, width cup 27,9cm, ø cup 18,4cm. With white details and on the lid reddish slip. On the lid a sitting young woman with offerings in a bowl and on the other side a satyr with thyrsos and tympanon flying to her. Intact, inside remains of sinter.

Numerous traces of the red undercoat. Broken at the neck, several missing fragments at the rim, fix mounted on an acrylic glass stand. From an old German collection and published in 1973 and 1985! Etruskisches Relief mit Wasserspeier von einer Architekturbekrönung.
2. Jh. v. Chr. H 38,5cm, B 54,2cm, T 23,5cm. Aus handmodellierter und grob geschlämmter beiger Terrakotta, mit Resten roter Bemalung vor allem auf der oberen Leiste. Auf der Vorderseite die Büsten von Herakles mit Löwenskalp und Keule sowie seiner Schutzgöttin Athena mit dreibuschigem Helm, Aigis und Lanze, dazwischen als Wasserspeier der Kopf des Erymanthischen Ebers. Rückwärtig vier Brennlöcher. Mit TL-Analyse von Oxford Authentication!

Provenienz: Ehemals Schweizer Privatsammlung, für diese am 8. Mai 1999 in der Galleria Serodine, Ascona erworben; davor in der Sammlung Wladimir Rosenbaum, Ascona (gest. 1984).

Etruscan relief with waterspout from the ridge of an architecture. 2nd century BC. Height 38,5cm, width 54,2cm, depth 23,5cm. Hand-moulded and coarse washed beige terracotta, with remains of red color especially at the upper profile border. On the front the busts of Heracles with lion skin and club and his protector goddess Athena wearing a triple crested helmet, aigis and spear. Between them as a gargoyle the head of the Erymanthian boar. In the back four firing holes. Small chippings for example at the upper and lower profile border, the crest and the cheek of Athena and at the lion skin and the club, otherwise intact. With TL-analysis of Oxford Authentication!

Kopf des Antinoos.
Nach 130 n. Chr. H 12,5cm. Feinkristalliner Marmor, patiniert. Unterlebensgroßer Kopf eines Jünglings mit lockigem, weit in die Stirn fallendem Haar. An den Resten des Halsansatzes ist zu erkennen, dass der Kopf stark nach links gewandt war. In den Pupillen die zeittypischen bohnenförmigen Bohrungen. Mit Kopie der Ausstellungs- und Dr. Meyer-Struckmann-Publikation!

Auf Antinoos traf Kaiser Hadrian bei einer seiner Reisen durch das Reich in Bithynien. Der hübsche Knabe begleitete fortan den Kaiser auf seinen Reisen, wobei das genaue Verhältnis zwischen dem Herrscher und dessen jungen Günstling bis heute Gegenstand verschiedenster Spekulationen ist. Im Jahr 130 fiel Antinoos bei einer Fahrt in den Nil und ertrank vor den Augen des Hadrian. Es heißt, er habe sich für den Kaiser geopfert, um dessen Leben zu verlängern. Nach seinem Tod wurden ihm kultische Ehren zu Teil, die die umfangreiche bildliche Überlieferung begründen.
