18. - 19. Jh. a) H 2,7cm. Cameo aus zweischichtigem Lagenachat (orange, hellgrau) mit der Büste der behelmten Athena. Winzige Randfragmente fehlen, kleiner Sprung. Antikisierend. b) H 2,3cm. Cameo aus orangem Glas mit der Büste eines Knaben. Intakt. c) H 2,5cm. Cameo aus rotem Jaspis mit dem Kopf einer Frau mit Halskette und Ährenkranz, wohl Demeter. d) B 3cm. Cameo aus zweischichtigem Lagenachat (transparent, weiß) mit Poseidon, der einen Gewandbausch über sich hält und aus dem Meer aufsteigt, flankiert von zwei Hippokampen. Kopf des linken Hippokampen fehlt. e) H 3,3cm. Cameo aus zweischichtigem Lagenachat (transparent, weiß), darauf der verschleierte Kopf mit Diadem der Juno, umlaufend die lateinische Inschrift IVNO REGINA DEORVM PRONVBA (=Juno, König der Götter u. Brautjungfer). Gebrochen und wieder geklebt. f) B 1,5cm. Cameo aus zweischichtigem Lagenachat (transparent, weiß) mit zwei Spähern im Lande Kanaan mit einer großen Weintraube auf einer Tragestange (Motiv von spätantiken Lampen aus Nordafrika). Intakt. g) H 1,5cm. Cameo aus zweischichtigem Lagenachat (beige, schwarz), darauf die Büste von Gaius Iulius Caesar. Intakt. h) H 1,9cm. Gemme aus violettem Glas mit erhabener, weiblicher Büste. Winziges Fragment fehlt. i) L 1,7cm, B 1,2cm, H 1cm. Quaderförmig mit Linie am Rand und der lateinischen Inschrift: POSSVNT QVIA / POSSE VIDENTVR. Diese Inschrift gibt einen Ausspruch Vergils wieder: "Sie können es, weil sie denken, dass sie es können". Winziges Fragment auf der Rückseite fehlt. Interessante Motive aus der Antike! 9 Stück!

Greek finger ring from the 4th century BC with engraved Sphinx (ring size US 10, GB U1/2, F 23), a silver ring with a red carnelian gem depicting Victoria (ring size US 5-, GB K1/2, F 11, tiny missing part in the setting), two bronze rings with engraved images (ring sizes US 8- and 4-, GB R and J, F 19 and 9,0), and a horn cuff (ø 2cm). Beautiful collection of small objects, mainly from the Roman Imperial Period. Marble. Fragment of a foot with toes and sandal underneath (L 5.9cm). Bronze. Knee fibula (L 3.5cm), three strongly profiled fibulae (L 4.3cm to 6.1cm), very fine animal fibula in the shape of a seahorse with well-preserved enamel inlays (L 4.7cm). Also included are a finger ring with key (W 3cm), a Late Roman strap buckle (W 3.6cm), and a needle attachment (H 2.9cm). Of particular note is a magnificent torque from the Late Bronze Age with a distinctive green patina (ø 17.1cm). Lead. Square weight of 2 1/2 unciae (64.14g) from Phrygian Hadrianopolis-Sebaste, on one side CTAΓ, on the other B (W 2.9cm). Lead. Beautiful archaic limestone head of a woman from the island of Aphrodite (H 11.2cm), made of terracotta are a seated Aphrodite (H 14cm), a veiled youths head (H 7.2cm), and a small Dionysos head with a wreath (H 4.8cm). Collection of interesting Greek and Roman objects. These include a Roman bronze pelta-shaped horse pendant (W 5.9cm), a Roman bronze garment pin with bird on the top (L 12cm), a light-colored terracotta zebu cow from the early Roman Imperial Period (L 9.1cm), and two very beautiful terracotta girls heads from the Hellenistic Period (H 2.3cm and 2.8cm). Of particular note are two terracotta lamps from Roman Imperial Times, one with a fantastical lion griffin (L 8.3cm), the other with Cupid carrying a thunder bolt (L 9.5cm). Finally, a spindle whorl with astrological symbols made of brown terracotta (ø 2.9cm) perhaps from Late Antiquity. 29 pieces! Partly intact, partly fragmented, metal with dark patina, terracottas mostly mounted on bases, numerous objects with old labels probably from Münzkabinett Funk, Neukeferloh.
