Attische Schale.
Um 500 v. Chr. H 7,3cm, Dm ohne / mit Henkel 15,1 / 20,6cm, Dm des Fußes 7,1cm. Schale mit Wulst zwischen Becken u. Stiel (Form A). Schwarzfigurig, Details in weißer u. roter Farbe. Innen kleiner Tondo mit Kreis. Außen auf jeder Seite ein Bildfeld, in dessen Mitte Dionysos mit Rhyton, Efeuranke u. -kranz nach rechts zu einem tänzelnden Satyr strebt. Links folgt ihm eine ebenfalls tanzende Mänade. Unter den Henkeln befindet sich jeweils ein Efeublatt.

Provenienz: Aus französischer Privatsammlung nahe Paris, erworben in den 1980er Jahren; ex Gorny & Mosch 222, 2014, 444 (mit falscher Zuweisung).

Attische Schale des Malers von London D 12.
470 - 460 v. Chr. H 9,1cm, Dm ohne Henkel 18,3cm, Dm des Tondos 8,4cm, Dm des Fußes 8,5cm. Kleine, rotfigurige Schale der Form C mit abgesetztem Rand. Im Tondo ein sitzender Jüngling. Die Fußplatte war schon in der Antike gebrochen u. wurde mittels eines Stiftes aus Blei repariert.

Der Maler von London D 12 (ARV² 959 ff.) gehört zu der Werkstatt des Penthesileia-Malers, für die allerdings die Schalenform sehr ungewöhnlich ist. Vgl. die sitzenden Figuren auf den Schalen dieses Malers Universität Wien 503.31-32 (ARV² 960,25; CVA Taf. 22,1-3; BADP 213021) und Universität Heidelberg 149 (ARV² 961,56; BADP 213054).

Spätes 4. - frühes 3. Jh. v. Chr. H 19,2cm. Glanztonkeramik mit plastischem Rippendekor auf dem Corpus sowie weißer u. gelber Bemalung. Auf der Schulter unter einem Strahlenkranz ein Bildfeld mit dem Kopf einer Frau nach links zwischen reichen Rankenmotiven.
