Attische Halsamphora der Leagros-Gruppe.
Um 510 v. Chr. H 43,5cm, ø 28,8cm, ø Mündung 20,4cm, ø Fuß 15,8cm. Schwarzfigurig, Details in Rot und Weiß. Auf Seite A Athena in einer in Dreiviertelansicht gesehenen Quadriga nach rechts. Auf Seite B Dionysos mit Kantharos und Ariadne zwischen zwei tänzelnden Satyrn, im Hintergrund ein Ziegenbock und Weinranken. In den Henkelzonen Palmetten-Lotusknospen-Ornament. Unter den Bildfeldern Knospenfries und Strahlenkanz, auf der Schulter zweifarbiger Zungenfries und auf dem Hals beidseitig doppelte Palmetten.

Attic black-figure neck-amphora of the Leagros Group. About 510 B.C. On side A Athena in a quadriga in three-quarter view. On the side B Dionysos with kantharos and Ariadne between two prancing satyrs, in the background a goat and vine. Below the handles ornaments with palmettes and lotusbuds. Below the pictures rows of buds and rays, on the shoulder a two colored frieze of tongues and on the neck bands of double-palmettes. Little splinters of the rim are missing, otherwise intact.
