Attische Hydria der Atalante-Gruppe.
560 - 550 v. Chr. H 31,1cm, B mit Henkeln 24,7cm, ø Corpus 19,2cm, ø Mündung 13,2cm, ø Fuß 11,5cm. Schwarzfigurig, Details in Rot. Das Hauptbild auf dem Bauch zeigt, wie der attische Held Theseus mit dem Minotauros kämpft, seitlich zwei junge Frauen. Gerahmt wird das Bild an den Seiten durch jeweils zwei Reihen von Efeublättern. Auf der Schulter drei Sirenen, darüber Punktreihe. Über dem Fuß Strahlenkranz. Ein Henkel war bereits antik gebrochen, wovon mehrere Löcher für Metallstifte zeugen.

Attic black-figure hydria of the Atalante Group. 560 - 550 B.C. On the main picture the fight between Theseus and Minotauros, on the sides two young women and two rows of ivy. On the shoulder three sirens below of a row of dots. Above the foot rays. One handel reattached. Several drillings for metall pins show that this handle was broken off in antiquity already. Otherwise intact.
