Die interessante Figur stammt wohl aus der Peripherie der griechischen Kultur und dokumentiert auf anschauliche Weise die Dominanz der griechischen Vorbilder, denen man mit den eigenen, begrenzten künstlerischen Mitteln auch in der Provinz nahezukommen versuchte.

Kleine Sammlung frühetruskischer roter Impasto-Keramik.
2. Hälfte 7. Jh. v. Chr. Zwei große kugelige Ollae mit je zwei Henkeln. Ein Exemplar aus Fragmenten zusammengesetzt, das andere ungebrochen, aber mit größeren oberflächigen Absplitterungen, bei beiden kleine Fehlstellen an der Lippe (H 32,7 und 33,7cm). Zwei Schnabelkannen. Das größere Exemplar mit Riss und winzigen Absplitterungen an der Mündung, das kleinere mit kleinen retuschierten Fehlstellen am und unter dem Henkel (H 17 - 19,1cm). 4 Stück!

Small Collection of Early Etruscan Reddish Impasto pottery. 2nd half 7th century BC. Two large globular two-handled ollae (height 32,7 and 33,7cm). One piece is reassembled from fragments, the other one unbroken but with large surficial missing fragments, both with small missing fragments at the lips. Two beaked jugs (height 17 and 19,1cm). The larger piece with fissure and tiny missing fragments at the mouth, the smaller one with retouched areas on and below the handle. 4 pieces!

Megarian mould formed bowl. Eastern Mediterranean, 2nd - 1st century BC. Height 7,3cm, ø 12,4cm. Reddish brown terracotta, at the rim blackened. Below a rosette, above palmettes and alternately slender amphorae. Small chipping at the rim, otherwise intact with remains of sinter.

Schöne Sammlung hellenistischer Keramik.
Östlicher Mittelmeerraum, 3. - 1. Jh. v. Chr. Darin enthalten zwei mastoide Becher (H 8,6 und 9,4cm, ø 14,1 und 14,2cm, eine kleine Absplitterung am Rand, sonst intakt), einhenkeliger Becher mit konvexem Unterteil (H 11,2cm, ø Mündung 7,4cm, intakt), zwei zylindrische Becher (H 7,6 und 7,7cm, ø 7,5 und 7,6cm, intakt), zwei kleine halbkugelige Schälchen, das kleinere mit Profilleiste (H 4,3 und 4,9cm, ø 6,4 und 9,5cm, intakt), ein kleines Unguentarium (H 7,8cm), zwei Miniaturteller, einer davon Eastern Terra Sigillata (ø 7,5 und 9,2cm) sowie eine sehr interessante kleine Formschüssel für Schälchen mit vegetabilen Ornamentbändern (H 4,2cm, ø 7,8cm, größere Fehlstelle). Dazu drei Fußfragmente von großen Schalen, eine mit schwarzem Überzug (ø 9,3cm), zwei mit plastischem Dekor in Form von Rosetten und Theatermaske auf der Unterseite (ø 8,5 und 8,9cm). Abschließend 59 Fragmente von mehreren Megarischen Bechern mit schönem plastischen Dekor (1,3 - 8,1cm). Zumeist aus rotbraunem Ton, teilweise mit dunkelbraunem Überzug oder mit dunkelbraun gebrannten Stellen. Zumeist hochqualitative und sehr dünnwandige Ware. 11 Stück plus 62 Fragmente!

With two mastoid bowls (height 8,6 and 9,4cm, ø 14,1 and 14,2cm, one small chipping at the rim, otherwise intact), one-handled beaker with konvex lower part (height 11,2cm, ø mouth 7,4cm, intact), two cylindrical beaker (height 7,6 and 7,7cm, ø 7,5 and 7,6cm, intact), two small hemispherical bowls, the smaller one with ring (height 4,3 and 4,9cm, ø 6,4 and 9,5cm, intact), a small unguentarium (height 7,8cm), two miniature plates, one belonging to the Eastern Terra Sigillata (ø 7,5 and 9,2cm) and one very interesting small mould for bowls with ornament bands (height 4,2cm, ø 7,8cm, large fragment is missing). Plus three foot fragments from large bowls, one with black slip (ø 9,3cm), two with mould formed decor in form of rosettes and a theatre mask underneath (ø 8,5 and 8,9cm). Furthermore 59 fragments from several Megarian bowls with nice mould formed decor (1,3 - 8,1cm).
